Yoga Off The Mat


When we practice our yoga in class we work to calm our thoughts, leave behind our judgments and stay aware of our body.  There is no reason we can't do that when we are not on our yoga mat.  Use the skills we practice in our sun salutations to approach a stressful situation.  When you are chatting through an argument or negotiating an uncomfortable situation remind yourself of our vinyasa cues - stay mindful of your alignment, stand tall and stable.  Continue to breath and keep your shoulders relaxed away from your ears.  Stay true to your intention and don't drive with your ego.  This way we are doing our yoga all day everyday.
