Changes of Season
Autumn is upon us! As
the seasons change so does our yoga practice.
As we make our way into the colder months, shorter days and longer
nights we cultivate a nurturing in our practice that sustains our warmth
through the winter. Classes in the autumn
can emphasize a focus on breathwork, twist and folds. These help to keep the channels within our
bodies clear and remove an excess buildup of toxins. As the leaves turn a shade of red our
savasanas (final resting pose) grow a little longer to support better
sleep. Come to class tonight to start to
relax and unwind into winter.
