Bummer

Often in the world of yoga we talk about being content in the moment, releasing tensions and even forgoing judgments - but I can be one of the first to admit, it's certainly easier said than done.  It is inevitable that we will all encounter one of those "bummer" moments when we get dealt a dose of bad misfortune that we just don't deserve.  There isn't a cure for that pit in your stomach when you realize a mishap is occurring - but we can try to change our perspective on how we move on.
You missed your flight, lost your cell phone or forgot to meet a deadline.  It happened.  Pick up the pieces, take the next step in solving the issue.  Take pride in picking yourself up by the bootstraps when you get knocked down.  No one takes the blows with a smile on their face but we can march forward instead of wallowing!  Kick that bummer right in the bum.
