Chakras in Yoga
Chakras are energy centers within or subtle body. The chakras are driven by our consciousness and
can have influence in our reception, assimilation and outlook on life. By balancing our chakras, our energies, we can bring ourselves to
better mental and physical health. In
our yoga and pranayama practice we address our imbalances and move our focus
towards our “subtle” body – our habits, emotions, prejudices and impulses.
Through the next 7 blog posts we will explore each of the 7
chakras. We will look into each chakras
location; how to diagnose excess and deficiency in functionality; and how to
heal and balance anything that may be out of alignment.
